APOLOGIES to anyone who has visited this site in the previous few months. You will have noticed that nothing much has changed. I had rather a lot going on, not least organising my wedding, and as a result the websites had to take something of a back seat. However I hope that slowly I can get back to normal and that includes finding time to keep on top of the websites. Regarding the CONVENTION planned for this year, this too will now (we hope) be next year. All of us here at Taggart Fanclub have had circumstances beyond our control to deal with this year and as such we couldn't give planning the event the attention it deserves.
For anyone who didn't get to see the interview with John and Blythe on the This Morning programme you missed a real treat. Click here to see some pictures from the show

ITV contacted me yesterday to let me know that John and Blythe will be appearing on 'This Morning' on 28th Feb 2008. Set your recorders now!
I received this information from Glenn Chandler. !t would be good if some Taggart fans could make it along in the summer. I just thought I'd let you know some good news - I'm co-producing my own play at the Edinburgh Festival this year in August. It is called BOYS OF THE EMPIRE. It's not about murder, but yes, there are deaths in it. I won't give too much away at the moment until we have final dates and venue sorted out. But hopefully yourself and a few Taggart fans might like to stroll along??

Headline Publishing are releasing their new publication, 25 Years Of Taggart on the 4th October 2007. The book promises to offer fans something that they've always wanted - a TV tie-in book which celebrates our favourite crime drama and giving it the recognition it deserves as we head into the show's Silver Anniversary year. The RRP will be £19.99 but I'm currently working on a possibility of getting fans using this site a reduction. Check back here soon.
Issue 1 costs £2.99 with each one thereafter costing £7.99. You can order them through their website, your local newsagents or WHSmiths. Signing up to direct debit earns you some nice extras too. Take a look now here www.deagostini.co.uk
Finally we are to be treated to another new Taggart. I know most of you will already know, but I now wait until it is listed in the TV Guide before posting here!! Better that than posting too soon, the listings being changed and everyone being disappointed eh? Anyway make a date - Mon 30th April - 9pm - ITV1
Apologies for my lack of updates recently, although I must say that this is, in part at least due to not actually having any news/gossip to tell you!! However as far as I'm aware filming starts again this month so hopefully things will pick up shortly. I'm sure you know that there are still repeats of Taggart floating about the airwaves - we just live in hope of another new one soon!!
Clear Vision are releasing Volume 4 of their Taggart box sets on 5th Feb 07. The set will include: Instrument of Justice, Forbidden Fruit, Prayer For The Dead, Hellfire, Black Orchid and Ring Of Deceit. Order online from www.clearvision.co.uk
