website is dedicated to John Michie. Why? I hear you cry.
Well without him it would never have been created. You see, when I
set up a fan site for John I had no idea how under represented Taggart and
it's fans are on the world wide web. Strange when you consider that
the show has been in existence for over 20 years and is popular worldwide.Anyway as a result of John's site I got to know and eventually met Robert and Valerie who have been fans of Taggart for it's entire existence. It is quite astounding how much Valerie knows about the show and its history not to mention the fantastic collection of items she has collected relating to the programme over the years. It seemed a shame to let all this go to waste. As a fan, does it annoy you that shows like 'Inspector Morse' and 'A Touch Of Frost' are repeated constantly on British television and many have well organised fan groups and location walks and yet Taggart doesn't? Well it annoyed us and this was the initial motivation for creating the site. Coupled with the feedback I have received via John's site it became obvious that Taggart needed a site of its own - somewhere fans could express their opinions and share information with others. We hope that in time, and with your help, we can achieve this. This site is like a newly planted garden........there's much more to come, and more to be developed.
